Addiction Medicine Practice

Addiction Medicine Practice

In our addiction medicine practice, we work with many patients who feel like they are all alone in this fight. We are here to tell you that you are not. We understand that being addicted to drugs or alcohol can create a feeling of isolation. It can seem as though no one understands what led you to need drugs in the first place or what keeps you coming back for more. It may feel like no one is there to see you when you are hurting or struggling and fighting those internal battles of whether or not to stay clean or take another hit. We understand that these moments of isolation and despair are what often leads to relapse or people continuing to use with no potential end in sight. The thing about isolation, however, is that it doesn't have to be your reality. We are here to support you. We will not judge you. We will not condemn you. We will help you get out of this situation, and we will be your advocate and partner during the entire journey.

Benefits of Visiting Our Addiction Medicine Practice

We realize that for many people, the idea of going to group therapy and talking about their addiction in public is completely unappealing. The feelings of shame or embarrassment that addiction can create can contribute to this unwillingness to get help in a group setting. The good news is that you no longer have to. With our practice, you can get the help you need in complete privacy. We offer one-on-one appointments and therapy sessions so you can receive necessary support in a situation that feels entirely comfortable.

We use medication to help our patients detox. Traditionally, the detox process can be absolutely terrible. It can make you feel so amazingly sick and uncomfortable, you long for another hit just so you can survive. We don't want you to go through this, and we do our part to make sure you won't have to. By using medication, we can control the detox symptoms and make them as minor as possible. Because of this, most of our patients are able to detox at the same time they continue on with their life. This is incredibly empowering because it means you can continue to go to your work and live your life without having to save up enough money to temporarily quit your job so you can get help.

We believe that each patient of ours is different and unique and deserves a treatment plan that is specific to them. We will not give you a one-size-fits-all type of solution but instead will take the time to get to know you, discuss your individual needs, and find a way to help you through this difficult time so you can have a life that is full, happy, and drug-free.
